Stowmarket Farmers’ Market organised by Heart of Suffolk Distillery and town council will run each month




Organisers of a new farmers’ market in Stowmarket have thanked shoppers for their support.

The first of the monthly events launched on Saturday, organised by the Heart of Suffolk Distillery and Stowmarket Town Council.

Stalls included Little Pig Bakery, Field of Cheese and the The Ruby Grace Candle Co.

Ryan Luke, managing director of Heart of Suffolk Distillery, said: “Saturday was a fantastic event with the Stowmarket community showing us some great support.

“It was lovely to see a large number of people visit the Farmers’ Market to see all of the local products we were showcasing and the enjoy a wide selection of music.”

Molly Watling, event coordinator for the town council, said: “We’re excited to introduce the much longed for farmers’ market into the town - full of fresh, locally sourced goods.”

The market will run on the third Saturday of the month.
