Plans for five homes in Haverhill’s former ambulance station land submitted to West Suffolk Council
Plans have been submitted to build five new homes on the land of a former ambulance station.
Colin Nicholson, of Freshwater Estates, submitted a bid to West Suffolk Council to build five new homes, alongside external works, on land at Yerrill Garden, in Burton End, Haverhill.
The site was formerly used by the now-demolished St John's Ambulance station.
Mr Nicholson's plans follow a former bid refused by planners in November last year on the grounds of negative impacts to the character and appearance of the area, residential amenity, parking, highways, and trees.
The design and access statement submitted alongside the new bid stated these concerns had all been addressed, with the design of the new building respecting immediate homes near the site.
The council has set a deadline to decide on the application of April 10.
