Felixstowe Beach Street Food Festival returns this weekend - here's everything you need to know
A festival that promises an exciting array of street food from around the globe is coming to an iconic shopping hotspot.
Still basking in its success from last year, Felixstowe's Beach Street Food Festival returns this weekend, featuring a mouth-watering mix of meals from both guests and town staples.
Those who wish to get involved can expect a diverse range, including loaded fries, overloaded doughnuts, Yorkshire pudding wraps, and the fusion of cuisines.
There will also be a licensed bar and DJs mixing tunes throughout – and even the opportunity to throw some axes at one of the area's newest additions.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of the two-day event:
When is it?
The festival opens today at 3pm, and runs through until 10pm.
It will return for its second day tomorrow from noon and wrap up at 10pm.
Who will be there?
The festival will host visitors alongside vendors already based in Beach Street.
The full list of visitors are:
- Poke Nom - Japanese / Asian fusion, including salmon, beef, chicken teriyaki, edamame
- Gourmet Yorkshire Wraps - Roast dinner in a Yorkshire pudding wrap
- Island Bay Caribbean street food
- Dirty Donuts - Overloaded doughnuts with toppings of your choice
- Mac Shack - Mac and cheese with gourmet ingredients and extras
- Dirty Dogs - Hot dogs with choice of toppings
- The Gourmet Chip Co. - Loaded fries
- Street Greek
- Cakes and Bakes by Lacey Grace - Tray bakes, brownies, cupcakes and more
- The Wonkey Donkey Bar - licensed bar
It will also feature Beach Street's newest additions:
- Carnitas Taqueria Mexican cocktail bar, alongside their delicious taco and burrito kitchen
- The extra large all-weather cover is constructed over the Hopster seating area.
- Carbon Steel axe-throwing range by Axes and arrows, which opened on the 18th.

The team said the festivities would happen come rain sleet or shine, with undercover seating available.
Admission is free, although under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
