Felixstowe Beach Street food festival returns next month – here’s everything we know so far
A two-day event which promises an exciting array of street food from around the globe is returning to a shopping hotspot this summer.
Felixstowe's Beach Street food festival has been penned in for June 23 and 24.
While a full line-up has yet to be announced, it will feature guests as well as town staples, including some new arrivals.
Charlie Manning, the manager of Beach Street and owner of Mannings Amusements said: “Beach Street’s food festival is back by popular demand.
“We have all new and local traders who specialise in their menus and promise international flavours with a modern twist.
“In addition, we are also inviting local producers to come and sell their goods.”
New traders include Hms Caterer, a Korean food vendor and loaded fries eatery The Bucket List, based in Norfolk.
Asian taco vendor The Cabin will also be in attendance.
In addition, live DJs will play music throughout the festivities.
Admission is free, although under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
The festival was organised alongside Ipswich sports bar Bear’s.
The last food festival took place on February 24 and 25.
It featured more than 20 traders, with goods ranging from beer, loaded fries, overloaded doughnuts, Yorkshire pudding wraps, and cuisine fusion.
Beach Street is located behind Mannings Amusements and opened in 2021.
Its microstores are located inside old shipping containers, which house various businesses, including eateries, cafés bars and shops.
