With the festive period in full-swing, what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than with a festive afternoon tea?

If you are on the hunt for Sherry drenched scones or a modern twist on a mince pie, look no further than Ravenwood Hall Hotel in Rougham near Bury St Edmunds.

Costing £20 per person, festive tea is available Monday to Friday 3pm-5pm throughout December.

Set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, this historical location is the perfect spot to tuck into a slice of cake, with a glass of prosecco in hand.

The Angel

Serving a variety of teas from around the world, you are bound to find your favourite cuppa at The Angel.

Based in Bury St Edmunds and available throughout December between 12pm-4pm, a festive tea at The Angel costs £26.50 per person.

Painters Café

Those looking for a family friendly afternoon tea should visit the Sudbury based Painters Café

Each Festive High Tea costs £15 per person and is available until Christmas Eve.

Reindeer brownies, Christmas pudding macaroons and other sumptuous delights all take pride of place on the menu with many ingredients being sourced locally and seasonally.

Procopio's Pantry

The sibling duo may have only opened their doors this year but they have rolled out a Christmas afternoon tea that can easily rival the long established names.

Based in Bury St Edmunds, the afternoon tea package costs £19.99 per person and guests can tuck into a festive sausage roll, mini Yorkshire with roast beef and horseradish, a classic mince pie and more.

Booking is required in advance and spots are selling out quickly.

The Ickworth Hotel

The Ickworth's Afternoon Tea theme has been inspired by the season, and features an array of classic and inventive flavours that are sure to tantalise your taste buds in the run up to Christmas.

Four different types of festive afternoon tea are available with prices starting from £15.

The Swan

Located in the picturesque village of Lavenham you are sure to leave here full of cake and festive joy.

Priced at £25 per person, the expert patisserie that adorns each platter provides delight for both the eyes and tastebuds.

Each set is served with your choice of Newby’s of London teas or infusions.

Nancy's Vintage Tea Shop

Based in the horse racing town of Newmarket, Nancy's Vintage Tea Shop offers guest the choice of having their afternoon tea in the comfort of their own with a takeaway tea or inside the shop.

Inside dining cost £21.50 per person and takeaway cost £18.50 each.

With a selection of finger sandwiches and cakes guests wont leave here hungry.
