Lake Avenue Bake & Bites on Mildenhall Estate in Bury St Edmunds set to close this month




The owners of an independent café and bakery in Bury St Edmunds have announced they will close for good later this month due to 'ongoing economic conditions'.

In a Facebook post, the owners of Lake Avenue Bake & Bites on the Mildenhall Estate, said they wanted to thank all of their 'loyal customers' for their trade over the last few years.

The post said: "To our amazing customers I am sad to inform you that we will cease to trade on the 23rd April.

"It has been a very hard decision to make but with the ongoing economic conditions affecting all businesses and supply chains, it was the right decision for us.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers for your trade over the last few years, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time, and have made some amazing friends along the way."

Lake Avenue Bake & Bites first opened in 2019.
