Pub beach huts in Fornham St Martin set to be an all-year-round hit

A set of beach huts at a pub in Fornham St Martin are, so far, proving an all-year-round hit.

The four brightly coloured, hand-painted huts at The Woolpack have already been used for drinks, social-distanced dining and, being wifi-equipped, even the odd business meeting.

Graham Hindle, owner of the pub said the idea came to him ‘out-of-the-blue’ and has been pleased with trade and comments from customers.

“We installed them just before we re-opened in July and people really like them,” he said.

“They seat up to six, we have table service and enable us to meet current Covid-19 guidelines.

“They have beach decor inside including buckets and spades, and we are looking at putting heating in so it can be summer all year round at the Woolpack.”
