PAW Patrol characters heading to Our Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival
Characters from children's TV show PAW Patrol will appear at a Suffolk festival next month.
Chase, Rubble, Skye and Marshall will join the Our Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend on the Sunday and Monday.
The free-admission event includes celebrity chefs, a farmers’ market, cooking demonstrations from restaurants and, new this year, a family entertainment zone in Charter Square at the arc shopping centre.
Two PAW Patrol characters will appear at the entertainment zone at intervals across each day, with Chase and Rubble visiting on Sunday, August 29 and Skye and Marshall on Bank Holiday Monday.
Mark Cordell, chief executive of Our Bury St Edmunds, said: "As PAW Patrol: The Movie will be screening during the summer holidays we know our special guests will be very popular.
"It’s great that the pups have been able to take a break from helping Ryder in Adventure Bay and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to the Our Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival.”
Across the two days, Charter Square will also host a circus skills workshop, giant games and a helter-skelter among other children’s activities.
Cookery demonstrations from celebrity chefs Sean Wilson and Paul Rankin as well as the stars of local restaurant kitchens can be found outside Moyse's Hall Museum and dozens of stalls will line Buttermarket and Cornhill with a farmers’ market on Angel Hill.
The Our Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival opens at 10am each day.
