Rougham's ICE venue to host new comedy night in aid of My WiSH Charity
Comedy is arriving at a Rougham venue next month.
ICE café is launching live comedy nights on September 8, with seven established comedians on the line-up.
Tickets are available for the event, in aid of My WiSH Charity, costing £5 each, which will be deducted from the bill for the evening.
Doors open at 7.30pm and the event starts at 8pm, but tables can be booked for food from 5pm.
The event is strictly over 16s only.
John Jackaman, ICE owner, said: “It’s long been an ambition of ours to have live music and comedy on our stage at ICE. We are really excited that after a tricky few years for everyone that dream is about to become a reality with this, our first comedy night.
"We have managed to secure some really strong acts for this first night and this is just the beginning – that they have all donated their time for free to support My WiSH is the icing on the cake. We are incredibly grateful.”
MC for the night is ICE bar supervisor, George Sundalskliev, with comedians performing including Norwich’s Jack Newman, Danny Mark from the Glass Eye comedy outfit in Ipswich, award-winning Essex comic Garrie Grubb, Ciara Jack, Nelson Gombakomba Jr II and Louie Green.
ICE comedy nights will take place monthly, with future events on October 6, November 3 and December 15.
