Dine in style on this 1899 Belgian gun boat which has been transformed into a stunning restaurant serving an array of delicious dishes from its Ipswich Neptune Quay location.

Owned by Julien and Karine Jourdain, it has a stylish interior and offers views across the waterfront with everything from scallops to lamb rump or pan fried seabass on the menu.

This unique and unusual dinner date location makes it one of the quirkiest places to enjoy a good meal in the county.

Urban Jungle, Beccles

This brilliant Beccles café allows plant lovers to get back to nature while enjoying a light bite or beverage.

Urban Jungle is home to a plant nursery with hundreds of different flowers, shrubs and indoor plants for sale, as well as the café area open from 10am to 4pm.

The café resembles a tropical jungle oasis with comfy seating and serving plenty of cakes, scones and snacks.

The Secret Garden, Sudbury

The Secret Garden in Sudbury is a quaint and quirky little restaurant based out of 15th century Buzzard Hall.

If its beautiful beamed interior and varied breakfast, lunch and dinner options were not enough to tempt you to visit, The Secret Garden also offers classes including French lessons, drawing classes and wine tastings.

It also offers two stunning function rooms available to hire for events.

The Blitz 1940s Tea Rooms in Ipswich's St Peter’s Street is filled with World War Two memorabilia and artefacts, and is about as quirky as they come.

A fascinating visit, the cafe is popular with afternoon tea lovers and history buffs alike, and visitors can get hot drinks starting from £2.95, sandwiches for £6.95 and jacket potatoes from £6.50.
