Person taken to hospital after crash between lorry and tractor in Duck Corner, Hollesley




A person was taken to hospital after a crash between a lorry and a tractor.

Police were called to the incident in Duck Corner, Hollesley, just before 2pm.

The ambulance and fire service were also at the scene.

On the arrival of fire crews from Woodbridge, Orford, Princes Street and Ipswich East, all three individuals involved were out of the vehicles, having suffered minor injuries.

One person was taken to Ipswich Hospital.

The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, three land ambulances and two rapid response vehicles were called.

The road was been closed between Woodbridge Road and Melton Road, near the water tower.

Firefighters contained a large volume of diesel spilled at the scene, which Suffolk Highways was alerted to.
