Adnams brewery confirm their pub The Crown at Snape is boarded up as they look for tenants




A Suffolk brewery has confirmed it is looking for new tenants for one of its village pubs, which was recently boarded up.

Today a spokesman for the Adnams brewery, based in Southwold, said they were currently in the process of finding new tenants for The Crown at Snape, which they hoped to find ‘as soon as possible’.

Though it is unclear when the previous tenants left, photographs show the windows and doors of the pub have been boarded up.

The spokesman for Adnams added that the pub had only recently closed temporarily and they were looking forward it to re-opening soon.

According to the Suffolk Pubs, campaign for Real Ale website The Crown at Snape dates back to the 15th Century.
