A sheep has been decapitated in an East Suffolk forest.
Officers are appealing to find the owner of the animal, which was found by a member of the public in Tunstall Forest yesterday.
Suffolk Police said the sheep had black markings on its legs and had pink or red dye on its back.
Anyone who can help officers track down the owner, believes it is their sheep or has any information on the incident should get in touch with officers at the Rural Crime team.
This can be done via rwp@suffolk.police.uk, quoting CAD 122 of March 4.
