Police nab Woodbridge drug driver who tests positive for cannabis

Police in Suffolk have caught a drug-driver who tested positive for cannabis.

In addition, 12 traffic offence reports were dished out - including tickets for speeding and not having an MoT.

Police from the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team (NSRAPT) took to Twitter to detail the offences.

The #RCRT were patrolling the A12 in Woodbridge, Suffolk this morning enforcing the #FatalFour issuing 12 x #TORS for offences including Excess Speed and No MOT with one driver being arrested for driving whilst under the influence of Cannabis. The officers were patrolling the A12 near Woodbridge when they hit upon the drug driver.

Team members signed off their report with a simple 'Don't drug drive' message to motorists.
