Police arrest Leslie Smith who absconded from Hollesley Bay in Woodbridge

Police have arrested a man who had absconded from a prison in Suffolk.

Leslie Smith was reported missing from Hollesley Bay in Woodbridge on Wednesday, September 6 but was arrested on Monday, September 11 in London.

A manhunt had been launched for Smith who went missing while on temporary release.

Officers have thanked the media and public for their help with the matter.
