Suffolk Police appeal after three vehicles in Woodbridge and Melton had number plates stolen or damaged over weekend
Number plates have been stolen and damaged in three separate incidents in a Suffolk town.
The incidents were over the weekend between Saturday, September 2, and Monday, September 4.
The first crime happened in Beresford Drive, Woodbridge, when the rear number plate was ripped from a vehicle sometime between 11.30am on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
A small part of the plate was left on the ground (crime reference – 37/51966/23).
Another vehicle from Woodbridge also had their rear number plate stolen by an unknown person or persons at approximately 1am on Sunday.
The vehicle was parked in Rodney Court (reference – 37/51956/23).
The final crime was in Saxon Way, Melton, near Woodbridge, where a vehicle has had their front registration plate damaged overnight between 9pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday (reference – 37/51967/23).
