The A1152 Orford Road near Woodbridge partially blocked after two crashes between four vehicles

A road near Woodbridge has been closed after two separate crashes this morning cause delays.

Suffolk Police and ambulance were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the A1152, Orford Road, at 10.30am.

Emergency services also attended another two-vehicle crash further up the road shortly after.

The road was closed both ways between the Wilford Bridge roundabout, the Common Lane and the Woodbridge Golf Club, but Orford Road westbound has now reopened for motorists.

A spokesperson for the police has said the road is expected to clear shortly as they are currently recovering the vehicles involved.

There have been reports of minor injuries, but the extend of those injuries are not known at this time.
