Woodbridge crash between Ford Fiesta and bicycle leaves 12-year-old-boy with serious head injury

A young boy has been left with a serious head injury following a crash in Woodbridge on Friday.

The 12-year-old was riding his bicycle on The Thoroughfare at the junction with an alleyway off New Street when he was hit by a blue Ford Fiesta.

The driver was travelling towards Cumberland Street when the crash occurred at around 7.15pm.

The boy was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital for treatment where he remains.

Witnesses or anyone with footage of the crash is being urged to contact Suffolk Police quoting crime reference 37/58306/22.
