Christopher Biggins to visit Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds

Christopher Biggins will visit the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds next week alongside Lesley Joseph.

The celebrity pair will be on stage on Thursday, July 1 in a special fundraising event for the theatre.

The event will be held in front of a life audience, as well as being streamed via Zoom.

Biggins, 72, has enjoyed a career in the television lasting more than 30 years.

He is best known for playing the character ‘Lukewarm’ in the 1970s television comedy Porridge.

The 72-year-old won 'I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' in 2007. He also appeared on the eighteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.

Biggins is also famous for his pantomime and theatre work.

Lifelong colleague and friend Joseph will also appear alongside Biggins.

Lesley, now 75, is best known for her role in television comedy Birds of a Feather.
