Ipswich Regent Theatre offers tickets to live-streamed events with famous names including Ant and Dec, Nigella Lawson and Arsène Wenger

With a summer programme of live events not quite going ahead as planned, audiences in Suffolk are now being offered a digital programme of exclusive live-streamed events.

Ipswich Regent Theatre has partnered with Fane Online to offer tickets to events, featuring some of the biggest names in TV and literature, including Ant and Dec, Arsène Wenger, Graham Norton, Nigella Lawson and more.

Fane Online will host the exclusive events with celebrated authors, actors, podcasters and other high profile figures direct to audiences in their own homes.

Councillor Sarah Barber, portfolio holder for Ipswich Town Centre, said: “We’ve all been missing the thrill of live entertainment over the past few months and we’re delighted to partner with Fane Online and give our audiences something to enjoy during this period of closure.”

Audiences have the option to buy a standard ticket or a ticket that includes the book associated with the event, such as the star’s autobiography.

A spokesperson said: "All events will be filmed to the highest quality, delivering an at-home cinema-style experience that goes beyond the standard live stream."

Ticket holders can watch the events live, or for up to 48 hours after the original stream.

Alex Fane, managing director of Fane, said: “It has been a tough few months for everyone involved in the arts, so it gives us huge joy to be able to collaborate with so many areas of the industry to deliver a new, creative, exciting proposition.

"Fane Online offers an unparalleled quality of at-home viewing with an incredibly broad list of shows."

Tickets for the first 15 live streamed events are now available to book online at www.ipswichtheatres.co.uk .
