REVIEW: The Ladyboys of Bangkok, The Greatest Showgirls Tour

Wow! What a whirlwind of a show last night was as The Ladyboys of Bangkok stormed The Apex in Bury St Edmunds once again.

There was glitz, glimmer and a lot of girls in last night's sold out performance.

No strangers to Bury St Edmunds The Ladyboys of Bangkok returned to The Apex for this year's show - 'The Greatest Showgirls Tour'.

With musical performances of songs from the hit film The Greatest Showman, as well as everyone's old fun favourite routines.

Although The Ladyboys have been around since 1998 where they first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe this was my first ever taste of the cabaret numbers, and cheeky one-liners, as well as experiencing audience [participation first-hand.

With one of our own reporters being hauled onto stage for his very own cheeky lap dance from one of the stronghold cast of Thai nationals.

Acts included the Thai girls' very own renditions of the YMCA, Simply the Best, and My Way.

And not forgetting musical numbers from Kylie Minogue, Cardi B, J Lo and Nicki Minaj.

Jamie John the newest addition to the entourage 'direct from a small cottage in the woods' also created a lot of entertainment for the crowd with the whole place on their feet by the end of the performance.

Fantastic costumes and an enthusiastic cast made the Ladyboys a show I'll definitely be seeing again if, (and I'm sure they will) return to the fabulous Apex venue.
