VIDEO: Paloma Faith at Newmarket Racecourse
A mix of down to earth chit chat with the crowd as well as a sparkly catsuit, meant only one thing, Paloma Faith was here at the Newmarket Nights event at Newmarket Racecourse on Friday.
With weather that couldn't have been more perfect with the sun setting on the last race of the day, Paloma Faith soon made her entrance onto the modest but elaborate Newmarket racecourse stage.
Singing mainly hits from her fourth and newest album 'The Architect', her voice could not be faulted as well as the band and dancers of her entourage.
As well as singing old favourites such as 'Lullaby', 'Changing' and 'Only love can hurt like this' to end her stunning performance.
Between songs she was not shy of conversation, especially political orientated speeches, even dedicating 'WW3' - one of the songs from 'The Architect' - to Donald Trump.
Whether this went down well with the crowd or not the atmosphere was revved up the full evening with the audience shouting 'SING!' in anticipation to her next song when she was addressing the people of Newmarket.
You could not fault the sound system of the July course, reaching all areas no matter where the crowd was stood.
Newmarket Nights is hosting an array of headline events, with the next big star being James Blunt this Friday.
