Thetford man charged with criminal damage, obstructing police and stealing a pedal bike in Norwich
A Thetford man has been charged with criminal damage, obstructing police and stealing a pedal bike in Norwich.
It follows an incident yesterday at around 4pm where a man was seen by officers trying to steal a bicycle on St Benedict’s Street.
A man in his 20s was arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Harry Pitchford, 24, of Edinburgh Way, in Thetford, was charged with attempt theft of pedal cycle, criminal damage and obstructing police.
He was released on bail and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on April 23.
