Nun’s Bridge Road in Thetford to be closed for £1,000 repair work

A main route in a town will be closed at the end on the month for repair works to a bridge.

Nun’s Bridge Road, in Thetford, will be closed for works including relaying coping stones and brick repair work on April 29 and 30.

For the work to take place, the road will be fully closed for the duration of the work, which is set to cost £1,000.

A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the closure with pedestrian access being maintained at all times.

The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
