Pupils from Norwich Road Academy in Thetford, make memories on London sightseeing trip




Year 6 pupils made memories and represented their school ‘extremely well’ on a recent sightseeing trip to London.

The children from the Norwich Road Academy in Thetford, travelled to the capital last week and enjoyed a picnic in St James’s Park, sightseeing tour and dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe

Mrs Julia Miles, school principal, said: “The children had a fabulous time, their feedback has been amazing, and I am sure that they will have made lots of memories too.

“The staff received lots of lovely compliments, from members of the public, regarding the conduct of the children.”

“They really are a great set of young people, they represented their school and community extremely well during their time away,” added Mrs Miles, who thanked members of staff who gave up their free time to support the pupils.

Other highlights for the children included watching Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre, staying in a hotel, experiencing a flight on the London Eye and visiting the Natural History Museum.
