Thetford teenager seriously injured after collision with car

A Thetford teenager was left with serious injuries following a collision with a car at the weekend.

Officers were called to London Road near Icknield Way, shortly after 1.30pm on Saturday, following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

The incident involved a silver Ford Fiesta and a teenage girl.

The girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but has since been discharged.

An appeal has been launched for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or witnessed the manner of driving prior to the incident.
