Teenage absconder charged with attempted murder of a Thetford man is rearrested
A 17-year-old boy, who was previously charged with attempted murder but absconded from local authority care, has been arrested.
The boy was located by officers in Cambridge and arrested on suspicion of absconding from lawful custody.
He has been brought back to Norfolk to be questioned at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.
The teenager was arrested alongside 18-year-old Elvis Price following a six-week manhunt previously and charged with attempted murder following an incident which saw the multiple stabbing of a man in his 30s, in Bury Road in the town, on March 10.
They are both due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on May 23.
