Thetford stabbing: Officers search for two more people as investigation continues into stabbing on A134 Bury Road
A search is under way to find two other people believed to be involved in the stabbing of a man in Thetford.
Officers were called to Bury Road on Sunday, at 11.48am, to reports of a fight where a man in his 30s suffered multiple stab wounds.
The victim was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with life-threatening injuries and his condition remains critical.
Initial enquiries led officers to Amulet Close where three people, two women and a man, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. They remain in custody and a seal remains in place at the address.
A large section of the A134 Bury Road remains closed and diversions are in place.
Officers understand those involved were known to each other and are now looking for two more people who they believe were involved in the incident.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact to Norfolk Police.
Officers are particularly keen to reach people with relevant CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage that could help the investigation.
