Officers close section of the A134 Bury Road into Thetford due to an incident

A large section of a road into a town has been closed off by police due to an incident.

There are reports that a section of the A134 Bury Road in Thetford, between the junctions for Nuns Bridges Road and London Road has been closed with officers in attendance.

Residents have also said on social media that they saw an air ambulance take off from the fields of Thetford Grammar School.

The details of the incident are currently unknown, but Norfolk Police have been contacted.
