Crash on B1066 in Elveden sees man arrested after positive cocaine test

A man has been arrested after he tested positive for cocaine following a crash.

Police were alerted to the collision, which caused 'substantial damage to the vehicle and road furniture', on the B1106 in Elveden last night.

In a post on Twitter, a spokesperson for the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team said a man was then arrested at a property in Brandon.

The spokesperson added: "They stated they didn’t take any drugs yet provided a positive sample for cocaine."
