Four crews sent to battle fire at Brandon business in Barnes Close

Firefighters have spent more than an hour battling a blaze at a Brandon business this evening.

Four fire crews, from Newmarket, Mildenhall, Thetford and Methwold, were sent to the commercial property in Barnes Close at around 5pm.

Flames were coming from an outbuilding to the rear of the property and covered an area of between 10 and 20 metres.

A spokesman for the fire service said the blaze was extinguished at around 6.20pm.

It is believed that no one was injured in the fire.
