Air ambulance called to two-car crash on A1065 in Brandon




An air ambulance was called to a crash on a key road in a town.

Suffolk Police was alerted at 6.52am to a two-car collision on the A1065 in Brandon.

A spokesperson said an air ambulance was called and one driver was injured.

The road was initially blocked but one lane reopened within 10 minutes and recovery was called.

The road was clear by 10.20am.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said an ambulance, a paramedic car, East Anglian Air Ambulance and Suffolk Accident Rescue Service were called to the incident.

Two people were assessed at the scene and a woman was taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
