Weekend football round-up: Wins for Bury, Needham, Soham, Stowmarket and Halstead but defeats for Diss, Hadleigh and Team Bury

Needham Market pulled off the result of the day locally, with their 2-1 success at Bloomfields against promotion chasers Tonbridge Angles only their second win after promotion to the Ryman League Premier Division, while a league lower it was also a joyous day for the home support at Bury Town (4-1 victory) but AFC Sudbury’s crowd were left frustrated as they played out a stalemate with Ceshunt.
