Weekend football round-up: Away wins for Bury and Sudbury and goals galore across Thurlow Nunn League sides
Games involving Theford Town (8-3 win), Newmarket Town (6-3 win) and Walsham-le-Willows (4-3 defeat) saw 27 goals fly in on Saturday.
In the Ryman League there were less goals to cheer, but vital results nonetheless for Needham Market — with a point at Farnborough moving them out of the relegation zone — Bury Town — with a 1-0 victory at Waltham Abbey courtesy of a debut strike from on-loan Ipswich Town Academy product Cemal Ramadan preserving their proud unbeaten record away from Ram Meadow this season — and AFC Sudbury, who won 2-1 at Wroxham to leave them third, two places above Bury in Division One North.
