VIDEO: AFC Sudbury Reserves 1 Cornard United 0

AFC Sudbury Reserves’ manager Danny Laws and his opposite number at Cornard United, Chris Tracey gave their post-match reaction on camera following a 1-0 win for Laws’ reserves side.

Despite dominating possession, it had taken a 60th minute penalty from Danny Bloomfield, won by tricky winger Liam Wales, to seal all three points in the derby match watched by a strong crowd of 197 at The Wardale Williams Stadium.

AFC Sudbury Reserves ended 2015 in the top six after the three points saw them move up a place from seventh, while Cornard ended the calendar year still in the bottom three in 17th place, with just four victories coming from their 19 league matches.
