VIDEO: AFC Sudbury boss on Staines Town win

AFC Sudbury manager Jamie Godbold praised his side’s performance at both ends of the pitch following Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Staines Town.

The result saw Sudbury bounce back from successive away defeats in the Ryman League Premier Division to move up two places in the table to 13th.

AFC had gone into the break with a commanding 3-0 lead courtesy of goals from James Baker, Sam Bantick and Dylan Williams.

Brandon Adams pulled one back for the visitors in the 58th minute, but despite Staines piling on the pressure, Godbold’s side were comfortable winners.
