Haughley county cup final date one of two moved
The dates for two of this season’s Suffolk FA Cup finals at Portman Road have been brought forward.
Following consultations between Suffolk FA, Ipswich Town and the clubs involved, the final of the Suffolk FA Senior Cup sponsored by CNet Training — between Haughley United and Waveney — originally dated for Thursday, May 19, will now be played on Wednesday, May 11.
The final of the Suffolk FA Women’s Cup sponsored by HomeStore Self Storage — between Kirkley & Pakefield and Ipswich Town —has been moved from Monday, May 23 to Monday, May 9.
The final of the Junior Cup sponsored by CNet Training — between AFC Hoxne and Henley Athletic — will still be staged on the previously advertised date of Tuesday, May 24.
Suffolk FA Chief Executive Laura Smith said: “The reason behind bringing two of the dates forward is to spread out the finals and make it easier for all concerned.”
Ticket details for all four Portman Road finals, which will all kick off at 7pm, are as follows:
Wednesday, May 4:

Tickets for the Premier Cup final are now on sale and are available online at www.itfcdirect.com, or in person at the Planet Blue store in Portman Road.
A £1 booking fee for each transaction applies when booking online. The £1 booking fee is per transaction, not per ticket.
Tickets are also being sold by the Suffolk County FA online via their online booking system, by telephone on 01449 616606, or in person at their headquarters in Stowmarket.
Pre-match bookings for the Premier Cup final will close at 4pm on Friday April 29.
Ticket prices for the game are as follows:
Adults (17+) - £8
Concessions (60+, students with a valid student ID card and 16 & under) - £4
Alternatively, tickets can be purchased on the day of the game on the turnstiles in the Cobbold Stand which can be accessed via Portman Road.
Please note that tickets purchased on the day of the game will be subject to an increase to £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Women’s Cup sponsored by HomeStore Self Storage
Kirkley & Pakefield v Ipswich Town
Tickets, which can be purchased on the turnstiles in the Cobbold Stand on the day of the game, will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
Wednesday, May 11:
Senior Cup sponsored by CNet Training
Haughley United v Waveney
Tickets, which can be purchased on the turnstiles in the Cobbold Stand on the day of the game, will be £6 for adults and £4 for concessions.
Tuesday, May 24:
Junior Cup sponsored by CNet Training
AFC Hoxne v Henley Athletic
Tickets, which can be purchased on the turnstiles in the Cobbold Stand on the day of the game, will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
For each of the four finals, the stadium turnstiles will be open at 6.15pm and all available seating in the Cobbold Stand is unreserved.
