VIDEO: Businesses look to reopen after Sudbury fire
A business that was destroyed in the devastating fire in Sudbury on Sunday evening has found a new home.
Celebrities Nails in Market Hill was burnt to the ground after a massive fire, which forced the evacuation of 20 homes and forced several businesses to close.
Owner Tina Phung said they had been offered and office space near to the Post Office in Sudbury, with bookings available from Monday by phone.
They had been offered a space in Creative Couture Salon in Sudbury but have since decided to move to another office.
“It’s very helpful, we are so pleased,” said Mrs Phung. “We have so many regulars that have been with us for eight or nine years that wanted to stay with us.”
You can make a booking by calling Mrs Phung on 07711 032797.
Another shop totally destroyed by the fire was the Oxfam charity shop.
Emma Creasey, area manager for Oxfam in Suffolk, said: “We have all been overwhelmed with the offers of help from members of the public. Ideally we want to keep all of the shop team together and we are looking for temporary retail unit in Sudbury to continue our presence in the town.
“It’s really good to know that people will support us coming back from this awful event, as the shop helped us raise much needed funds to help Oxfam’s work to end poverty.”
The charity has released a video, remembering the good times that staff and customers had in the shop.
