Lavenham and Orford in Suffolk ranked amongst top honeymoon destinations in the UK

Two villages in Suffolk have been ranked highly in a list of the best honeymoon destinations in the UK.

Lavenham, near Sudbury, and Orford, near Woodbridge, have both been named among the UK’s 44 most romantic honeymoon hotspots.

Ranked at number 17 on the list was Lavenham, a village popular for its romantic walks, around the Suffolk countryside.

Orford was ranked lower at number 32, it offers newlyweds the chance to enjoy boat trips and time by the water.

Other popular locations on the list included Portmeirion in Wales and Beer in Devon.
