Great Waldingfield suspected double murder victims named locally as Jillu and Louise Nash

The victims of a suspected double murder in a Suffolk village have been named locally as Jillu and Louise Nash.

Dozens of tributes have been left at the Heath Estate in Great Waldingfield, near Sudbury, after the mother and daughter, aged 44 and 12, were found dead in their home on Thursday.

A seriously injured man was also found inside the property. He remains in hospital under arrest and police have today described his condition as 'stable'.

The Parish Council of Great Waldingfield left a note that read: "We are so very sorry for your loss. It has been such a terrible time for your family. All love and prayers are with you."

Another family wrote: "There are no words to describe the tragic loss we feel. Sleep well, the night sky has another two stars."

Another tribute read: "Rest in peace Jillu and Louise. Will miss your beautiful smile and jolly self. Two lovely ladies taken too soon."

"Two beautiful souls taken so tragically. May you both fly free together in eternal love. You will both be so missed," wrote another mourner.

This follows the events of September 8 when emergency services were called to a house at 9.55am after reports of 'concerns for safety'.

Officers gained entry and discovered two dead bodies inside. Both victims were found with stab wounds.
