Police appeal after suspected arson at former pub in Leavenheath
Police are appealing for information following a suspected arson at a former pub in Leavenheath.
Officers were alerted to the blaze at a vacant site in Honey Tye, which once traded as The Lion, shortly after 2.15pm yesterday (Thursday).
Residents were instructed to close their windows and doors while fire crew tackled the blaze.
Temporary road closures on the A134 were put in place during the incident.
Enquiries into the cause of the blaze, which police say is being treated as suspicious, are being conducted.
