Anglia Sunshine Nursery in Sudbury launches sensory play sessions for babies

A Sudbury nursery is running a series of new sessions aimed at helping babies’ cognitive development.

Anglia Sunshine Nursery, in Warner Way, will hold weekly sessions around sensory play.

Nursery manager Felicity Rose said: “We use cake mix and crumble toppings to set up play scenes.

“The children use all their senses to explore – sight, smell, touch, taste and sound – and it’s all edible.

“It’s a great way for them to explore different textures and develop fine motor skills.”

The sessions are held every Friday, from 9.30am to 10.30am.
