Sudbury-based charity launches new website
The Smile of Arran Trust, founded in memory of Arran Kosh who died after being diagnosed with a brain tumour last year, has launched a new website.
It shares Arran’s story as well as offering families and individuals affected by a brain tumour or brain cancer the opportunity to apply for supportive grants.
Alison Tosh, Arran’s Mum and co-founder of the charity, said: “Our primary goal is to provide financial assistance to individuals and families who have a child or young adult who has been affected by a brain tumour or brain cancer. Brain tumours and brain cancer kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other form of cancer, but there are limited funds available to support sufferers and their families. We hope that by having a website we can raise awareness of the disease, reach more people affected by this type.”
