Students’ knockout performance

More than 75 pupils took to the stage in Stour Valley Community School’s latest production.

Students sung, danced and acted their way through Bugsy Malone.

Lewis Ruddock, who played the title role of Bugsy, said: “As a Year 10 drama student, it was my final opportunity to be the lead, so I had to go for it. It was hard work but it came together.”

Jill Garrett, head of music, added: “I was so proud of the whole team.”
