There were two performances, one for the local primary schools who were invited to watch for free during the day and a sold-out performance in the evening for the dancer’s family and friends.

There was 26 pieces covering an array of dance styles such as contemporary, street, capoeira, samba and musical theatre.

The dedicated SV Dance Company rehearsed at lunchtimes and after school.

Emma Lee, subject leader of dance and founder of the SV Dance Company said she was extremely proud of all her dancers and was looking forward to next year’s show.
