This is the moment singer Ed Sheeran walked out of a driving test centre with a massive smile on his face - as he clutches his theory test results.

The red-headed musician waved the papers in the air before climbing into the driver’s seat of a car with a female passenger.

But Ed, 24, would not reveal whether he passed or failed.

An employee working in the same building as the test centre in Bury St Edmonds, snapped the photos around 1pm on Wednesday.

Mark Rothwell, 42, said: “He was very coy and cool when he came out. He just came out, walked over to a car and drove off.

“I asked him if he had passed and he just said he didn’t know and waved his documents.

“He drove off with one ‘L’ plate on his car. He was in the driver’s seat in the car. He looked happy.”
