Kentwell Hall welcomes in 2023 with Snowdrop Days

Kentwell Hall, near Long Melford, has opened its doors to visitors – with the public treated to exclusive Snowdrop Days in the stately home's gardens.

The area around Kentwell has been planted with snowdrops, and the organisers invite visitors to soak in the gardens.

The Snowdrop Days event runs throughout half-term, and then every weekend until March 5.

A spokesperson for Kentwell Hall said: “It was wonderful to welcome visitors once again to Kentwell Hall ahead of a busy programme of events this year.

"Spring is a lovely time to visit with carpets of snowdrops and little pockets of bright yellow aconites still showing.

"There is a contrast between a mix of colour with the yews and conifers and the winter starkness shown by the shapes of the bare trees.

"For our younger visitors, there’s also the Tudor Rose courtyard maze and a varied storybook trail."
