A1092 in Long Melford reopens after crash




One person has been taken to hospital after a crash in a Suffolk village.

Emergency services were called to the A1092 Windmill Lane, in Long Melford, at 8.19am, after a reports of a collision at the junction of the B1066.

The road was closed while officers attended the incident.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance service said: "Two ambulances were sent to the scene and assessed two patients, one of whom was transported to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”

The road was reopened at around 10.23am.
