Homefield householder in Boxford near Sudbury wakes to find window unlatched and wide open

A homeowner had their window unlatched and left open in an attempted break-in incident in Homefield, Boxford, near Sudbury.
The householder awoke at 6am on Saturday after hearing a noise in the bedroom and found a bedroom window had been unlatched and left wide open.
The suspects left without gaining entry.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who was driving past at the time and has dashcam footage. They should contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting 37/6983/23.
