The Kings Head in Great Cornard, near Sudbury, closed after fire

A pub has announced it will be closed ‘until further notice’ following a fire.

The Kings Head, in Bures Road, Great Cornard, is shut after the fire tonight.

A statement on social media said: “We’re relieved to report that no injuries have been reported.

“A huge thank you to Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service for their swift response and hard work.

“We appreciate your support and will provide updates as soon as possible.

“Thank you for your understanding.”
